COLORADO SPRINGS – News5’s Brie Groves reading to students apart of Woodman – Roberts Elementary School’s National D.E.A.R. Day celebration.
National D.E.A.R. Day is celebrated each year on April 12th, the birth date of beloved author Beverly Cleary of Ramona Quimby series fame.
The day is designed to encourage families to read at least 30 minutes a day, together, away from all the other distractions of everyday life.
