PUEBLO – The Colorado Department of Transportation remembered their fallen Tuesday.
A remembrance ceremony was held in Pueblo to honor the nine CDOT workers who died while on duty in CDOT region two.
A family member of one of the fallen workers offered the following reminder.
“I just wanted to definitely tell the drivers, be careful and watch out for the workers, but also to the workers, just be aware of all of your surroundings. Especially everyone in your crew,” said Alison Valdez.
This week is National Work Zone Awareness Week.
