COLORADO SPRINGS – Police are investigating after shots were exchanged between two cars at the intersection of Chelton and Academy Tuesday night.
Police tell News5 it happened around 6:38 p.m. when officers heard approximately six shots while conducting a traffic stop in the area.
Officers said they saw two vehicles traveling southbound, apparently shooting at each other. Police have not released descriptions of the vehicles or information about possible suspects.
Police said it appears no one was hurt in the shooting. The incident remains under investigation.
