PUEBLO – It was a week ago Wednesday when that strong storm blasted Pueblo with powerful and damaging wind. So many trees were knocked down in city parks and cemeteries, remaining clean-up work will go another week or more. “We’re still getting out and finding areas where we’ve lost some trees that we weren’t initially looking at,” said Pueblo Parks and Recreation, Assistant Director, Mike Sexton, “Up to around 60 trees and some of those we call legacy trees that are over 50- 60 years old.” Then removing stumps will likely last into summer.
