Two arrested in Pueblo puffer theft

PUEBLO – Two men are arrested after a puffer vehicle theft this week in Pueblo. Dillon Sloan, 28, and James Spinuzzi, 44, on Motor Vehicle Theft charges.

Police say they were called to the Ramada Inn, in the 4700 block of North Freeway Drive, after a report of a puffer vehicle theft. Police say the suspects managed to avoid them during traffic stops throughout the morning.

Thursday morning officers from the Crimes Against Property Section found Sloan and Spinuzzi in the 1900 block of Claremont Street.

The vehicle was eventually found abandoned, and returned to the owner.

Sloan is charged with 1st Degree Motor Vehicle Theft and Complicity to 2nd Degree Motor Vehicle Theft. Spinuzzi is charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Motor Vehicle Theft, as well as violating a protective order and several outstanding warrants.
