Tuesday morning’s blizzard brought better-than-expected snow totals along with brutal wind gusts to southern Colorado.

Here were the most impressive snow totals compiled by News5 and the National Weather Service around southern Colorado:

  • Monarch Pass: 11 inches
  • Air Force Academy: 8 inches
  • Monument: 7.5 inches
  • La Junta: 7 inches
  • Woodland Park: 6.5 inches
  • Rye: 6.5 inches
  • Wetmore: 6 inches
  • Beulah: 6 inches
  • Northgate Blvd (Colorado Springs): 5.6 inches
  • Westcliffe: 5.5 inches
  • Rocky Ford: 5 inches
  • Alamosa: 4.3 inches
  • Walsenburg: 3.1 inches
  • Garden of the Gods Road (Colorado Springs): 3 inches
  • Las Animas: 3 inches
  • Penrose: 1.5 inches
  • Colorado City: 1.5 inches
  • Pueblo Airport: 1.4 inches
  • Colorado Springs Airport: 1 inch
