SOUTHERN COLORADO – Another vote by El Paso County Commissioners finalized one of the major funding sources for the I-25 Gap improvement project.
The $65 million federal grant is an essential piece of the $350 million total budget.
The grant process was highly competitive.
The federal money is from a new grant program under the Trump administration aimed at infusing money into large infrastructure projects.
