COLORADO SPRINGS – The Air Force Academy announced that it is conducting a base-wide exercise Wednesday that could cause delays for visitors.
The Air Force said people will still be allowed to visit the academy from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the exercise. Air Force officials said activities at the south and north gates to the Academy are planned and controlled.
The exercise is planned to test the readiness of first responders at the academy.
