UPDATE: Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, authorities announced that the pair has been found. Rodney Brown is in custody.
SHERIDAN – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 17-year-old girl who is missing from the Denver suburb of Sheridan.
Samantha Herrera was last seen around 5 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Hampden Avenue and Santa Fe Drive in Sheridan.
Herrera is believed to be with 19-year-old Rodney Brown. They may be traveling in a white 2000 Honda Accord with Colorado license plate number OMB-236.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says Brown is known to be violent and owns weapons.
