COLORADO SPRINGS – Discovery Canyon Campus is postponing several school sporting events as students mourn the loss of two of their classmates.
Juniors Kade Currier and Avory Kvale were killed in a car crash on Dec. 27th.
Both students were athletes.
Avory’s funeral is set for Thursday. Kadon’s will follow on Saturday.
Friday’s boys and girls basketball games scheduled for Friday against Sand Creek are postponed. The wrestling team has pulled out of tournaments they were set to attend Saturday.
