El Paso County black market marijuana numbers

EL PASO COUNTY – New numbers are out on just how much illegal marijuana was taken off the streets this year in El Paso County.

The Metro Vice and Narcotics Unit confiscated more than 7,500 black market marijuana plants.

More than 1,800 pounds of refined marijuana and more than 170 weapons were also taken off the street.

In all, 105 search warrants were executed and 43 arrests were made.

The unit said they plan to continue their aggressive approach to putting an end to black market marijuana.
