COLORADO – Flu season is starting to pick up across the country.
Colorado is one of a few states with “high” activity.
The Center for Disease Control recently released the latest nationwide numbers on the flu.
Nine states have what is considered a high number of cases. In Colorado, there have been 376 hospitalizations with no pediatric deaths.
Seven states and Puerto Rico have “moderate” flu activity.
Sadly, there have already been 11 deaths from flu related complications over the past few months.
