LAS ANIMAS – The Bent County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at the Las Animas City Hall.
Because of the burglary, some services are currently unavailable at City Hall.
For example, anyone needing to pay utility bill will have to do so online through the city’s website.
The Sheriff’s Office said today they’re cleaning up the mess left behind form the burglary.
There is no word at this time on any arrests or when services will be back up and running.
