COLORADO SPRINGS – Many people across the Pikes Peak region are spending Monday doing some last-minute shopping.
A lot of the bigger retailers will be open into the evening hours. However, smaller businesses like those in Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs will begin to close around 5 p.m.
Chelsea Heck, who was shopping in Old Colorado City, said, “I had to do my last-minute shopping because I did fly in yesterday from Florida and things I’m buying are too big to…bring on the plane so I wanted to get it here and wrap it tonight.”
Bigger stores like Walmart will stay open until 6:00 p.m. Target will remain open until 10:00 p.m.
