PUEBLO – A Pueblo group donates much-needed supplies to the city’s warming shelter, just in time for the holidays.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated 12 pallets to the Pueblo Rescue Mission. Volunteers and members were there to give the organization food, clothes, and sleeping bags to be passed on to homeless people in the community.

“It brings joy to my heart that these saints and this community is willing to serve and bless those who that may not be in a place that they chose to be in,” said church member Ralph Downey.

The LDS Church in Pueblo requested the supplies, and then received the items from Salt Lake City.
