PUEBLO – Kids in need in Pueblo will receive presents for Christmas from the Chavez family. The family owns the Sunset Inn.

Gerda Chavez says she’d like to do a lot more and every year, if she has extra money, she adds more kids. This year, they gave a mountain of gifts to “Posada,” a non-profit organization who will make sure that kids in need will get the gifts.  More than 170 children will benefit from the present collection this year.

The Chavez family collected the gifts mostly from their customers. The gift giveaway is done in memory of Taustin Chavez who was killed in a car accident in 2006.
