COLORADO SPRINGS – The Bob Telmosse Christmas Giveaway is an annual Christmas tradition in Colorado Springs.
This year, the group launched its first ever ‘Santa Bob 3K Fun Run.’
Runners in the event were encouraged to bring a donation of a new, unwrapped toy for the annual giveaway.
“We just really enjoy the time that we’re with family and just getting outside and exercising and living a healthy lifestyle,” said participant, Robert Hedden. “It’s a lot of fun.”
The giveaway will be held next weekend at the Norris Penrose Events Center.
The tradition was started by the late businessman, Bob Telmosse, and each year, more than 3,000 people attend.
