COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Utilities is expecting to reopen northbound lanes of N. Union Boulevard Friday.
CSU said repairs on the broken water main that caused the closure are complete. Crews still need to repave the area where the repairs took place, which is expected to happen Monday morning.
N. Union is closed through the Academy intersection between Del Paz Drive and Ranch Drive.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area. Use Flintridge Drive or Montebello Drive as alternate routes to avoid the area.
