CUSTER COUNTY – If you’re in Custer County and you see smoke, the United States Forest Service (USFS) is conducting a controlled burn off of Highway 78 and Highway 165 in the San Isabel National Forest area.
Numerous people have called to report seeing the smoke, but there is no reason for concern. Authorities are asking that you please refrain from contacting 911.
