COSTILLA COUNTY – The Costilla County Sheriff’s Office announced that Sheriff Amos Medina passed away over the weekend.
Sheriff Medina served Costilla County for 31-years. On the sheriff’s office Facebook page, there is an outpouring of reaction from the community.
The cause of his death is unknown, as are funeral plans at this point.
