PUEBLO – Two people are under arrest after the driver of a car was involved in an accident on the highway 50 bypass at Bonforte just after midnight Saturday morning.
After the crash, the suspect ran off to a nearby Value Stay motel. The Pueblo police found the suspect and another man in a room and they were both arrested. The other man had outstanding warrants.
When police searched the driver’s car, they found a gun, a machete, several knives and drug paraphernalia inside.
The names of the two men arrested have not been released.
