COLORADO SPRINGS – Search and Rescue crews recovered a woman’s body Monday morning after she fell in a rugged area of the Barr Trail on Sunday.
Attempts were made to reach the woman on Sunday, but due to the terrain, there was no way to bring a helicopter in to assist with the recovery. The woman fell at around noon.
Crews started out again Monday morning at daybreak. The Sheriff’s Office said no criminal intent is suspected in the fall. The woman’s name has not been released at this time.
