COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police say a 59-year-old Colorado Springs firefighter has been arrested for sexual exploitation of a child Wednesday.
Colorado Springs Police said Robert Patrick Stambaugh was arrested without incident and is being charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child. He has been booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center with no bond.
Stambaugh has been with the Colorado Springs Fire Department since 1986 and is currently assigned as Firefighter/Paramedic. The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit is conducting the investigation.
