OTERO COUNTY – The Otero County coroner is working to determine whether the deaths of two people are suspicious.
The bodies of 45-year-old Andrew Baca and 52-year-old Joann Torres were found in a home on September 15th. The home is west of Rocky Ford on County Road HH.
Authorities said both people lived at the home. Their cause of death is pending the autopsy report from the coroner.
There is no indication of how long the bodies were in the home before being discovered.
Several agencies are assisting in the investigation including the Otero County Sheriff’s Office, the coroner, the district attorney and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
