COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Springs Police are investigating an overnight brush fire that started sometime around midnight on Saturday morning.
The fire happened along a trail off of Circle Drive and Janitell. Smoke filled the air on the south side of the city. There were no structures damaged and the fire was contained to mainly grass, bushes and trees.
Two people were taken into custody for questioning on exactly how the fire started. It’s unknown what if any involvement they had with the fire.
