COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police said no one was hurt after a police car was rammed and shots were fired Thursday afternoon in the southeastern part of the city.

Police said they followed a car that was driving erratically on Platte Avenue into a neighborhood off of Cree Drive, near the intersection of Peterson Road and Galley.

CSPD Lt. Howard Black told News 5 that police determined it was a stolen vehicle and made contact with the person driving the car. Shortly after that, the vehicle hit the squad car and someone inside the vehicle fired shots. It’s not clear if the suspects shot at police.

Black said no officers fired shots, and no officers, suspects or bystanders were injured.

Police said five juveniles were arrested along with one adult. It’s not clear which suspects were driving the car or firing shots at this time.
