LARIMER COUNTY – Firefighters are working to contain a wildland fire burning near the Seaman Reservoir, about 30 minutes northwest of Fort Collins.
The National Forest Service said the Seaman Fire grew to 22 acres Tuesday, but also said crews made some progress on containment. However, an exact containment number was not provided.
Firefighters said fire activity died down later in the day and drops from helicopters and air tankers helped firefighters gain better control of the fire.
The Forest Service said no structures are threatened and there are no evacuations ordered, but smoke is visible from Fort Collins.
