Broncos fans step onto CDOT’s Bustang as they had to home game.

COLORADO SPRINGS- Thousands of sports fans are expected in the Denver area Sunday afternoon as both the Rockies and Broncos are playing on home turf.

In southern Colorado, many fans are making their way to the Mile High city to root on the home teams.

With construction on the I-25 gap and the ongoing traffic challenges on I-25, Sundays could become increasingly stressful for sports fans.

Which is why CDOT’s ‘Bustang’ service, in partnership with the Regional Transportation District (RTD) is operating special routes for Broncos fans this season.

‘Convenience, not having to fight the traffic I mean I drive up to Pueblo up to here, we park, we get on the bus, we sit for an hour and half, the driver fights the traffic and I’m behind him all the way,’ said Terry Mabrey, a Broncos fan using the service Sunday morning.
