COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for a vehicle that left the scene of a deadly crash Wednesday night.
The incident happened at the intersection of S. Academy Boulevard and E. Fountain Boulevard.
Police say a tan or light-colored, older model pick-up truck with a camper shell left the scene before officers arrived. Members of the Major Accidents Unit would like to interview the driver of that truck as part of their investigation.
The northbound lanes of Academy Boulevard were closed while police investigated the crash.
