Colorado Springs – The Colorado Springs Police have launched a child abuse investigation after a 31-day old infant was hospitalized with a broken leg.
Officers responded to UCHealth Memorial Hospital at about 11:00 p.m. Sunday night after they were notified by officials about the injuries to the child.
The infant is suffering from a fractured femur.
CSPD’s Crimes Against Children Unit and the El Paso County Department of Human Services are currently working on the investigation.
