It’s dumping snow in the high country ahead of one of the busiest ski weekends in Colorado. Unfortunately, many resorts will be off-limits for some pass holders due to blackout dates.

Blackout dates will not apply for full Epic and Ikon pass holders and they will have the option to ski all areas associated with each individual pass. However, owners of the Epic Local and Ikon Base passes will be blacked out this weekend, meaning your pass won’t work at certain ski areas.

Epic Local Pass Black Out Locations:
– Vail
– Beaver Creek

The Epic Local Pass will work at all Summit County (Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin) resorts as well as Crested Butte this weekend. Full Pass Details Here.

Ikon Base Pass Black Out Locations:
– Steamboat
– Aspen (All four mountains)
– Taos

The Ikon Base Pass will work at Winter Park, Copper Mountain and Eldora this weekend. Full Pass Details Here.

Anyone can still visit any resort they like this weekend, but unless they have season passes with the resorts or the full Epic or Ikon passes, they’ll have to buy a ticket at the window.
