The storm track headed to the Front Range of Colorado has the attention of Emergency Managers. “Just hunker down and let this thing get through,” said James Reid, Director of Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management.

The forecast showing likely blizzard conditions is behind the decision to activate Emergency Operations Centers in El Paso County and Colorado Springs. “The key thing is, we’ll be here to support whatever happens and to take care of the citizens,” said Reid.
