SUMMARY: Once again, high temps busted 60F from the I-25 corridor to the Kansas border, and many east saw low and mid 60s! For early January? That’s pretty incredible. And given that just 5 days ago, temps couldn’t escape the low teens, that’s amazing.

Still on the “Mild Side”

Temps will remain mild, just not as mild, for the next 4 days, with a gradual cooling-off period. But numbers appear to bounce back mid and late week. There really is no good rain/snow chances in sight (yet), though the mountains pick up some snow tonight and Sunday. Worst-case for the Front Range is a few sprinkles Sunday and Sunday night.

It will definitely be cloudier now, through Monday, with clearing coming in thereafter.

COLORADO SPRINGS:  Low: 30, High: 58. Tonight, cloudy and mild. Sunday, cloudy, breezy & mild.

PUEBLO: Low: 28, High: 62. Tonight, cloudy, mild. Sunday, cloudy, breezy & mild.

CANON CITY:  Low: 32, High: 62. Tonight, cloudy and mild. Sunday, cloudy, breezy & mild.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 28, High: 48. Tonight, cloudy, mild. Sunday, cloudy, breezy & mild.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 29, High: 52. Tonight, cloudy and mild. Sunday, cloudy, breezy & mild.

PLAINS: Low: 31, High: 61. Tonight, cloudy and mild. Sunday, cloudy, breezy & mild.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 34, High: 60. Tonight, cloudy and mild. Sunday, cloudy, breezy & mild.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK: Clouds crowd the skies through most of Monday, and while the western slopes pick up some rain-to-snow (4-8″), the I-25 corridor and Plains likely stay dry, even through that weather-maker. Brightens back up mid-week.
