SUMMARY: Flurries early and bitter cold make for a weather alert day today, but the flurries end early on…

The recent storm is easing off to the south and eventually east, and taking with it, the leftover lightweight moisture, flurries, ending this morning. Gradually, the skies will clear today, as the storm moves further and further off, and a large dome of high pressure extending up and down the Rockies will move in and sit overhead awhile. This means, we are sitting pretty, with sunny days and clear nights…and a rapid warming trend.

Highs will escalate some 10-15 degrees each day over the previous, through Friday! So, there is a pot o’ gold at the end of this rainbow…
