ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK – The search for missing Air Force Academy Cadet Candidate Micah Tice was suspended Tuesday.
Tice was last seen on Saturday, Nov. 24 by other park visitors in the Battle Mountain Area. His car was later found at the Longs Peak trailhead that Monday.
Over the past week, ground and aerial search crews have covered an approximate 10-square-mile search area.
National Park Service, very few clues were discovered during search efforts. Snowfall and high winds in the extreme high mountain terrain have made finding clues to Tice’s whereabouts even more difficult.
The Park Service said the absence of additional clues led to the decision to suspend the search. Limited search activities may occur during winter months if conditions allow.
