USA – If you’re planning on mailing Christmas cards or gifts to military members overseas this holiday, there are some mailing deadlines you should be aware of.
All cards, letters, and priority mail packages must be at the Post Office no later than Dec. 11th.
All priority mail express military service packages must be in by Dec. 18th.
When addressing your package, there are a few things to remember.
- Include service member’s full name
- Include unit and Army, Air, Fleet, or Diplomatic Post Office address
- Include nine-digit zip code if one is assigned
- Include return address
- Do NOT include the country where the service member is stationed
