DENVER – A Bronco’s linebacker legend on the field is being recognized for his work off the field.

Former Bronco Randy Gradishar has been named the “Denver Broncos 2018 Salute to Service Nominee.”

For the past 20 years, Gradishar has been helping military families and service members throughout the state of Colorado. He’s been on USO tours and lends support to many military events.

“Having that nomination from them, certainly it was a great honor for me,” said Gradishar.  “But it was a bigger honor for me knowing that I’m having an opportunity to work with veterans and their families, of helping them pay it forward in their lives.”

Gradishar currently works with veterans at Mt. Carmel. Out of 32 nominees, he’ll find out if he makes the short list at the Pro Bowl. The winner will be announced a week later at the Super Bowl.
