BACA COUNTY – Five people are in the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to life-threatening after a serious accident off of County Road UU and County Road 33 Friday night.
According to the State Patrol, the driver of a Ford Expedition hit the front of a Ford F-150, causing the pickup truck to roll over.
There were two men in pickup truck and both were airlifted to Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 70-year old woman and a 100-year old man in the Expedition received minor injuries, while a 91-year old was seriously injured.
The closest town to the accident is Two Buttes.
Troopers say that the accident is under investigation and that alcohol and excessive speed are not contributing factors to the crash.
