LEESBURG, Fla. – The Leesburg Police Department in Florida is investigating a shared Facebook video of a woman holding her 3-year-old son’s head in a toilet and flushing it.
The police department said the incident is being investigated by the Department of Children and Families. The video has since gone viral, and officers have been stationed outside the woman’s home due to multiple threats received, according to the Associated Press.
The woman was identified as Katelyn Wolf, who told an Orlando television station the video was taken out of context as the boy was laughing at the time, according to the Associated Press.
She also said at the end of the video the boy said, “let’s do it again.”
The Leesburg Police Department said Detectives are working with the State Attorney’s Office to determine the necessary criminal prosecution.
