FREDERICK – Federal agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Colorado Bureau of Investigation are helping locate a missing pregnant woman and her two daughters Wednesday.

34-year-old Shanann Watts, who is reportedly 15 weeks pregnant, and her two young daughters were reported missing out of Frederick Monday. Her daughters are 3 and 4 years old.

The Frederick Police Department issued a statement at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday saying there is no threat to the public at this time. Police also said there are no additional details being released as to not compromise the investigation.

“There’s a lot at stake here and we are exploring all avenues in order to not rule anything out,” police said.

Police did ask for public help in locating Shanann, Bella, and Celeste. Police have made fliers if anyone needs a hard copy of their pictures.

Officers will be canvassing the Saratoga Trail area this afternoon. Another update will be provided at 6 p.m.

Watts is described as 5’05”, 148 lbs, hazel eyes, long black hair and has her nose pierced. The daughters are described as 4-year-old Bella Watts 3’06, 40 pounds, brown eyes, and brown hair and 3-year-old Celeste Watts is 3’0, 37 pounds, hazel eyes, and blonde hair.

Our partner station, 9News Denver, spoke with Watts’ husband who said the situation has been very “traumatic” and hopes everyone is okay.
