The Tasmanian Devil has arrived in Broncos Country.

Phillip Lindsay has done nothing but impress his potential coaches and teammates during the first days of Broncos training camp.

"He has sauce, so to speak. He has some good sauce to him. I like him," said linebacker Brandon Marshall.

"I have a whole camp; I have to stay healthy and I have to make plays and I have to do things right," Lindsay said.

The Denver native has made the most of his short time with the Broncos, making the team look smart bringing him to camp as an undrafted free agent.

"Everything is all cute and fun when you’re making touchdowns but it’s about my steps when I’m running the ball and pressing it so the linebackers can get stuck on our blocks," said Lindsay. "There’s a lot stuff that I have to work on."

Lindsay put up almost 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns for the University of Colorado in 2017. He is in the mix in a crowded running back room with the likes of third year player Devontae Booker, second year back De’Angelo Henderson, draft picks Royce Freeman from Oregon and David Williams from Arkansas. Lindsay has separated himself by catching/returning punts and shaking and baking on Marshall on day one.

Said Marshall, "He’s going to be a great third-down back. I think he’s going to be good.”
