Two male suspects were arrested for allegedly hitting a victim over the head with a handgun at a local doughnut shop in May.

Two juveniles males, ages 15 and 16 years old, were arrested on July 26 after a search warrant was executed at their homes. Police said detectives recovered evidence that linked both suspects to a crime at Amy’s Donuts in the 2700 block of East Fountain Boulevard on May 18.

Two masked teens reportedly entered the doughnut shop just after 3 a.m. Police said one of an unknown number of victims was struck over the head with a handgun.

This caused the handgun to go off, but no injuries were reported from the stray bullet, according to CSPD. The suspects fled the scene on foot.

Police said the same two suspects then committed a personal robbery on May 23 and were arrested by police.
