Authorities closed Highway 50 in La Junta due to flash floods following heavy rain in the area Monday night.Police are advising people to NOT take the 2nd Street exit off the north La Junta bridge because 2nd Street is flooded. Police say all underpasses in La Junta are flooded and the underpass in Swink is also flooded.CDOT is currently working to drain flooded areas.
