School starts in one months and two Southern Colorado school districts are still dealing with the hail damage from earlier in the summer. Fountain Fort Carson School District report every building in the system suffered damage. In Widefield District a high school and two elementary schools need repairs.

The mid June hail storm pounded southern El Paso County with hail as large as baseballs. The school districts are dealing with holes in roofs, skylights smashed, and water damage inside.  At Fountain Fort Carson they know it will not all be fixed by the start of the school year.

News 5 is looking into what it will take to be ready for the start of school in August.
