Clear Creek County announced temporary Stage 2 Fire Restrictions Tuesday afternoon.
The temporary ban is effective July 3 at noon and applies to all lands in unincorporated Clear Creek County. This is due to high fire danger and a number of fire restrictions in surrounding counties.
The following activities are prohibited under Stage 2 Restrictions:
Violators of these restrictions can be subject to 4th Degree Arson and/or Reckless Endangerment charges. The county says the restrictions will remain in effect until further notice.
