More than 160 new full-time jobs are coming to Pueblo!

The Pueblo Economic Development Corp (PEDCO) says Davis Wholesale Inc., a fresh produce wholesale distribution and food production company is opening its newest distribution center in Pueblo. According to a release, the brand, Crazy Fresh, works to produce fresh, specialty, "grab-and-go lifestyle," items to grocery stores.

The company made the announcement late Monday afternoon. The upcoming project will include 163 new full-time jobs with $130,400 for pre-employment training at Pueblo Community College (based on approval from Pueblo City Council), according to a release.

“Russ Davis Wholesale is a perfect fit for the Pueblo community,” said Andrew Trainor, PEDCO Chairman. “They bring a midwestern family brand to partner with our local farmers to create the pre-packaged, fresh produce that the modern market place is looking for. We are very pleased to have RDW come to Pueblo and provide over 160 new jobs and make the kind of capital investment that means they are here for the long term. When the company was searching for a new place to conduct business, they soon found out that Pueblo has plenty to offer and they made a very good business decision to jump on the Pueblo Proud bandwagon.”

We will keep you updated as the project develops.
