Bystanders in northern California recently recorded what may be one of the worst cases of road rage ever seen.

In cell phone video recorded by a concerned citizen, you can see a man repeatedly ramming a car, effectively turning the California street into a demolition derby for more than 10 minutes.

In the video, you see a white SUV ram another SUV over and over again. When the white SUV can longer move, a man gets out, jumps on top of the blue SUV, and begins stomping and kicking the vehicle.

Emergency crews and police eventually show up to the scene and actually give the man space while he throws his tantrum.

At one point during the tirade, the man falls off the blue SUV. It was at this time officers moved in and detained the man.

A witness to the incident described what many must have been thinking. "My thought was I witnessed somebody’s mental breakdown essentially," said witness Nikki Guinn.

According to police, the man was under the influence of narcotics and was sent to a hospital for evaluation. When he is released, police said he will be charged with felony assault and vandalism.
