Taylor Swift made a stop in Denver Friday night and played to a sold-out crowd at Mile High Stadium.

Anywhere Swift goes she creates a buzz and her stop in Colorado was no different.

Several members of the News 5 team were on hand for the performance, as was a unique teenager with a big heart from Salt Lake City.

Emily Arthur has faced some challenges in her life, as she was born with down syndrome. In two weeks though, she will graduate from high school and head off to college in the fall.

This past Christmas, Emily’s parents surprised her with tickets to the Taylor Swift show in Denver. The family had two extra tickets to the show, and instead of selling them, Emily decided to give them away to someone battling cancer.

Gabriella Gonzales was the lucky lady who received the tickets Friday afternoon before the show. Gabriella is currently fighting leukemia and is a big fan of Swift.

When asked why it was important for her to share her extra tickets, Emily said, "I want people to know that they can do anything, whatever they set their minds to and never give up on their dreams."
