A company out of Japan has created a new approach to home security.
Apartment company Leo Palace 21’s new product is designed to give those who live alone an extra sense of security. The "Man on the Curtain" is a system that projects the shadowy figure of a man on to your window curtains to make it appear as though you don’t live alone.
The projected silhouette can appear to being performing a number of activities. The 12 options available with the system include, a man boxing, a man performing martial arts, a bodybuilder, a sports fan, a man vacuuming, and even a man swinging a baseball bat.
Each projection runs for 30 minutes and works via smartphone. The system is not yet available outside of Japan, but the company is looking in to make it available for purchase.
