Injuries reported after explosion in Colorado Springs

Three explosions were heard at a home in the 700 block of Prospect Street at roughly 10:00 p.m. Friday night. One person was injured and taken to the hospital and another person was seen being placed in to the back of a police cruiser.

Colorado Springs police sergeant told our photographer that he heard the 3 explosions from the Police Operations center which is a mile from there..

The Colorado Springs Bomb Squad and the ATF were seen at the home. After waiting for several hours, authorities were able to obtain a search warrant around four a.m and gain access to the property.
